A little piece of Sicily, born in Sydney.

My Balls was born from a Sicilian family originally from Catania — a family that, after leaving its homeland and building a new life in Australia, always carried something with it that could never be left behind: the flavours, memories and traditions of Sicily.

For more than 12 years, Sydney has been our home. We have worked, built our family and created a life on the other side of the world, but Sicily has always remained a part of us.

In our family meals.
In our recipes.
In the aromas of our kitchen.
And, most importantly, in our memories of home.

After so many years, we decided to turn that passion into something of our own.

And that is how My Balls was born.

WHY “MY BALLS”?

The heart of My Balls comes from one of the most iconic and loved symbols of Sicilian street food: the arancino.

In Sicily, we call it arancino or arancina. In Australia, we wanted to present it in a simple, modern and international way: Rice Balls.

And that is where the name My Balls comes from.

A fun, memorable and slightly cheeky name, with a very simple meaning: our Rice Balls, our Sicily, our story.

Arancini are where we started, and they remain at the heart of our brand. But Sicilian cuisine is so much more than one dish.

That is why My Balls has grown into a way of bringing the rich culinary tradition of Sicily to Sydney.

OUR SICILIAN STORY

We don't want to reinvent Sicily.

We want to tell its story.

Through recipes that are part of our culture and products that remind us of where we come from: from parmigiana and lasagna, to sweet and savoury arancini, cannoli, rice zeppole and almond pastries, all the way to Sicilian cassata — the queen of our pastry tradition.

SICILY ON WHEELS

Then we decided to put all of this on four wheels.

Our food trailer has been designed and decorated to bring Sicily to life in every detail, with Sicilian decorations, colours and touches inspired by the traditions of our island.

Because to us, food isn't simply something you eat.

It's an experience.

It's seeing the colours of Sicily, smelling its aromas and tasting flavours that can take you back in time — even when you are thousands of kilometres away from home.
